What Storage Sense actually cleans

Where the built-in stops

Storage Sense is a janitor for Microsoft's own mess: update debris, temp folders, the bin. It does not map application leftovers after uninstalls, it does not touch the WinSxS component store — that job belongs to DISM's StartComponentCleanup — and it will never notice that a 4 GB folder in AppData belongs to a game you removed in 2023.
