What's new: cloud placeholders, and exclusions that stick

If your folders live partly in OneDrive or Dropbox, you have met placeholders: files that Explorer shows as local but that are actually just cloud stubs. 11.2 now recognizes them and steps around them — a scan never forces a placeholder to download, and cloud-only files no longer inflate the numbers as if they were real bytes on disk.

The second addition is a plain exclusion list. Right-click any folder in the report, choose to exclude it, and it stays excluded in every future scan — visible and editable in settings, so nothing is decided behind your back. The point is not more cleaning; it is the ability to draw a fence around things Kleaner PRO should never count.

What's fixed

Four fixes, all reported by users. A scan could hang when a profile folder sat on a network drive that had gone offline mid-walk; 11.2 treats an unreachable location as empty and says so in the report. Exporting a report to a path containing Cyrillic characters failed on some systems — the export now handles any path Windows itself accepts.

On multi-monitor setups with mixed scaling, the report window occasionally opened at the wrong scale, blurry on one screen and tiny on the other; it now follows the monitor it opens on. And when updating through the full installer instead of the built-in updater, a small number of installs lost their settings — the installer now preserves them the same way the updater always did.

Rollout, and what stays the same

11.2 is a free update for every 11.x license, offered through the built-in updater; installation takes under a minute and preserves settings and scan history as before. Windows 10 (22H2) and Windows 11 (23H2, 24H2 and 25H2) remain the supported line, and 32-bit builds stay available.

What did not change is the part that matters most: the allowlist of cleanable targets is exactly the one from 11.1. Placeholders and exclusions remove noise from the report — they do not add a single new thing to the delete pile. That is deliberate, and it is how the 11.x line will keep growing: smaller steps, fewer surprises.
