Riot Client Cleanup: Logs, Minidumps and Uninstall Leftovers

What piles up and where

The client is shared infrastructure: it launches, patches and signs you into every Riot game, and it logs each step in plain text. Each game adds its own Logs folder inside its install directory, and crashes leave minidumps next to them. None of it is needed to play — it exists for support tickets and debugging.

Cleanup that breaks nothing

Quit the Riot Client from the system tray before touching anything — it stays resident after you close your game and keeps log files locked. The Logs, Crashes and minidumps folders can be emptied wholesale; the client writes a new set on the next launch without complaining. The one rule inside game folders: delete only folders named Logs, Crashes or minidumps, and leave every other file alone — the game's actual assets live right next to them.

The uninstall leftovers are the sneaky part. Removing a game through Windows Settings → Apps takes the game but leaves its folder — logs, patcher caches, sometimes the entire game directory — sitting in C:\Riot Games. Once you are sure you will not reinstall soon, delete that folder by hand. The Riot Client itself is shared by all Riot games, so keep it if any other title is still installed.
